Irrespective of what your perspective is – life is for the sole purpose of personal growth, success and happiness. However, living a successful life is not an easy task. Below are five words that encompass true success.

Remarkable leaders usually have a clear purpose of where they want to be in life. This purpose is what compels them to be different and successful.

Having a strong vision is not just about knowing what you want to have, it is also entails who you want to be, where you want to be and who you want to be with. This vision is what will enable you to embrace the hustle and give you energy to grind fully through battles of this world because you know there is worth it. It has everything to do with the life you want to live.

When a vision is broken into small actionable goals, it creates a sense of urgency that helps you to be extremely focused. With that, it will be easier for you to say NO as well as be unapologetic because you know what is good and right for you.

If you had to rate your effort on a scale from one to 10 and how much you give of it every single day, what would your score be?

While effort is not the only thing you need to be successful, the large part of your success will come when you start putting in the time each and every day. Your ultimate success will come from sitting down at your desk to work and keeping up with the daily grind.

No one have ever achieved success just by hoping for it. True successes require a certain strength of mind and body to struggle and work hard to reach your fullest potential, the right attitude, self-discipline and the ability to put your goal before your own needs.

Discipline is the virtue that brings stability and structure into a person’s life. It teaches you to be responsible and respectful.

With fanatic discipline, influential leaders have been able to achieve consistent achievements and accomplish stringent performance standards not just when the environment is conducive but even during the toughest conditions.

Being disciplined will help you to constantly display restraint and be strong enough not give in to something you truly want. Discipline will enable you to promote achievement in your life.

  1. Consistency

While consistency is a component of disciple, it is the aspect responsible for differentiating success from failure. Consistency develops routines and builds momentum. It forms habits that become almost second nature.

In business, being consistent is same as building predictability meaning notion that clients always receive and expect high standards from you. It also means delivering on what you say you will so that clients know what they can get from you – important for building relationships.

As a person, consistency means being systematic on a regular basis and having habits that can make your various jobs and tasks easier. Being consistent will make you more productive, as you will build momentum, which will help you to hit targets, work your way up the career ladder by building on successes, and working to deliver the next level.

Persistence is the ability of not giving up even when things are tough. When you start off on something, things will be hard and very difficult but this should not be your reason to throw in the towel. Great things take time to build. Have patience.

Things will not always work the way you plan and you must be ready when the inevitable roadblocks stand in your way. Being persistent means you will remain strong no matter the situation.

If you want to succeed, you have to make a decision and decide to keep going no matter what. Perseverance is what will make your business and career grow. Even if you can’t see the results you wanted, you can’t give up.

With a great vision supported by focused effort, discipline, consistency, you can build a powerful life and business.
